The KTU B.Tech Evening degree is awarded on three conditions, and all of them must be satisfied together:
- Earned credits for all the core courses and the Project.
- Earned the required minimum credits as specified in the curriculum for your branch of study.
- No pending disciplinary action.
How the award is made
The degree is awarded on the recommendation of the Academic Committee and with the approval of the Board of Governors, in accordance with any academic regulations the University issues for the purpose.
Fees
The fee charged for the programme is decided by the University from time to time and communicated to all concerned β it is not fixed in the regulation itself, so the current figure has to be confirmed with your college.
What this means in practice
The core courses and the Project are named separately from the minimum credit requirement, so clearing the credit total is not sufficient on its own if a core course or the Project is still outstanding. Students carrying a backlog in a core subject should clear it before assuming the credit count settles the matter.
